Placer Arts 360 launches to promote local arts

Through support from the James Irvine Foundation, the Placer Community Foundation has been making strategic marketing grants in the arts with the understanding that a thriving arts sector builds, strengthens and enhances community. Started in 2009, the Community Foundation’s Audience Development program has been funding 11 local, nonprofit arts organizations to increase their audiences, both independently and jointly. The result to date has been a 13% increase in public participation in the arts. Phase two of the Audience Development Program is to support a joint marketing program in which these same groups work together to promote all that Placer County offers in the arts. The Placer Community Foundation acknowledges the thoughtful and steadfast collaboration among our local arts organizations and is pleased to share their launching of Placer Arts 360.

Placer Arts 360 is a group of performing and visual arts organizations in Placer County who have joined together to collectively enhance, promote and encourage participation of the arts, where one can experience art in all degrees.

The brand was created to help raise awareness of the unique, quality arts experiences available in Placer County and to promote the offerings of all organizations involved. Working together, the organizations will co-promote and cross-promote their offerings to provide a greater awareness of arts and culture in the communities they serve.

Placer Arts 360 currently supports the following organizations: Arts Council of Placer County, Auburn Community Concerts Association, Auburn Placer Performing Arts Center, Auburn Symphony, Chamber Music Alive! Civic Theatre West, Lincoln Arts & Culture Foundation, Placer Theatre Ballet, Placer Theatre Productions, Rocklin Community Theatre, Roseville Arts! Blue Line Gallery, South Placer Heritage Foundation, Take Note Troupe, and Theatre Alive!
