You can work with our professionals to make grant recommendations  (PDF 380KB) now or in the future. And if you endow your gift, it becomes a permanent source of community support.

Private foundation alternative

A donor advised fund at Placer Community Foundation is an excellent alternative to a private foundation, with only a fraction of the administrative responsibilities. You maintain personal involvement and support the causes you care about most while enjoying the favorable tax treatment of a public charity. We take care of investment management, startup costs, grant administration, and reporting. A supporting organization is another possible alternative.
