Based on local research and the contributions of arts organizations throughout the western slope of Placer County, the initiative includes the following components: grantmaking, giving, marketing and operational support for nonprofits.
Supported by The James Irvine Foundation, audience development grants are designed to help local nonprofits engage residents and foster arts and culture in our region.

Thanks to a Placer Community Foundation grant a community arts calendar is now available online. The same grant also underwrote the development of a registry of artists working along the western slope of Placer County, from Dutch Flat to Roseville.
