Gold Country Wildlife Rescue Endowment Fund

Gold Country Wildlife Rescue (GCWR) is a non-profit, volunteer organization, dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of injured and orphaned wildlife.  They have been serving the local community for over 20 years, and do so at no charge. GCWR is permitted through the California Department of Fish & Wildlife, and the US Fish & Wildlife Service.

The GCWR animal census has been growing at a rate of 15% annually for the last several years, and this has led to increases in operating expenses. The Gold Country Wildlife Rescue Fund at Placer Community Foundation was established to meet the growing needs of the community and, as GCWR matures and evolves to handle the increased demand, having a fund to help us meet this expense burden.
