Taina Jones

Taina is the Grants and Community Impact Manager at Placer Community Foundation, where she leads grant programs, scholarships, nonprofit support, and the Placer Collaborative Network. With over a decade of experience in philanthropy, grantmaking, and social justice work, she brings a strong commitment to community-led, intersectional approaches.

Taina has previously held roles at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, Hirsch Philanthropy Partners, and San Francisco Foundation, supporting a range of Bay Area and national initiatives. She is passionate about bridging systems that drive lasting, transformative change. She holds an MBA from Mills College and a BS in International Business from San Francisco State University. Outside of work, Taina enjoys hiking, yoga, dancing, and spending time with loved ones.
