Jason Bell

Treasurer

Jason is a Managing Director and the Chief Investment Officer for Capital Planning Advisors. He is responsible for directing firmwide investment policy, private capital sponsor selection and leads the firm’s investment committee. Jason brings an institutional skill set and perspective from over twenty-five years of experience working with high-net-worth families and nonprofit organizations.

 

Prior to joining Capital Planning Advisors, Jason was a senior investment professional at Wells Fargo Private Bank, where he built and managed customized investment portfolios for a select group of clients. During his time at the bank, he served on and led various national equity research teams for several years. In 2007, he co-founded the Sacramento Business Review as a public service effort to produce a body of objective regional economic analysis to help educate and inform the Sacramento business community.

 

Jason is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance from the University of California at Davis, where he was inducted to the Beta Gamma Sigma academic honor society. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of the Pacific.

 

He is an instrument-rated Commercial pilot, lifelong skier and scuba diver and enjoys taking his girls up in the air, down the ski slopes and under the ocean. Jason volunteers his time in Placer County and also with several nonprofit organizations in the Sacramento region. Jason serves on PCF’s  Finance Committee and a valued member of our Board.
